Don’t take the battery out the spare. You’ll end up with no keys at all.
With Vauxhall the key needs to be paired with the car, I expect VW will be the same.

Great news riderdown, your last sentence is particularly powerful. Well done to everyone involved.

No you’ve done the right thing. I pair a cheap bar light with exposure joystick or diablo.

That way you get wire free lighting on your head and a fairly focused beam to see where you’re going.

I wouldn’t want to run a heartorch without a bar light, but the other way is worse.

I’d be tempted to try a different lock ring.

I have a fork from a Kinesis Pro 6 CrossLight V2 in metallic blue I could be willing to part with cheaply if that’s any use to you?

Oh no, what a shame. Hope it’s not too badly damaged.

I don’t know about availability but swapping Hoses on Shimano hydro is really easy.

Facebook suggests it was the USAF refuelling a number of F15s.

I think I’m close to you spooky, I heard something loud this morning too, whatever it was certainly wasn’t flying at 45,000 feet.
I assume something else was up there that wasn’t being tracked.

We’ve all been there buddy, feel like we are letting our kids down when juggling so much.
Fiver on its way, good luck to Phoenix.

Ask your dad if you can borrow his MG? Ticks most of the boxes!

Gotta be honest, I quite look forward to reading them.

I bought one for my brother, I was impressed even ignoring the price. Build seemed similar quality to any other helmet I’ve ever bought.

As above, though I’d contact Endura, in my experience they’ll sort you out.

I think it’s your username causing the problem, change that and the squealing will probably go away. (Sorry I don’t have anything sensible to contribute)

Oh actually check the rear mech alignment. I wonder if the new mech is bent and you just didn’t notice the skipping previously.

I suspect it’s time to replace the chain and cassette.

You could eliminate the jockey wheels from the equation by popping the old ones back on and seeing if you can replicate the problem.

So a quick Google suggests the freehub has the part number Y3B990200 and it would appear these are no longer available.

I’m a big fan of the 7800 groupset so I’d keep it going, with a new wheel or hub. I can’t think of any other parts you’ll not be able to replace for a good few years.

Whether you get a new wheel or hub and swap the bits or indeed the whole hub depends on how much use the wheel has and how smooth the bearing runs are.

I’ve not had any contact whatsoever, but assume they aren’t turning up anytime soon.

    Shame but not unexpected.

Lol, I love it when old topics randomly pop back to the top :-)

By coincidence I just ordered some Hy-Rd from Decathlon, but for use on the singlespeed bike.

Considering a full hydro upgrade on the ‘other’ bike (new topic incoming).

    Thanks all

No experience of the pro 4, but with pro 2 if you’ve got that far you might as well pop the bearing out, it’s prob easier

I bought a set of these brakes from rhid.
I did a little review here

I know nothing about Gravel bike disc brakes

Not a lot to fill them. It will depend slightly on the length of the hoses.

However it’s not as simple as just filling them up, in my experience half of the minimum amount you need will end up on the floor and you need to push fluid through the system so you need more than you think, certainly more than the 50ml that comes with a bleed kit if filling up from empty.

IME you can’t mix and match road and MTB crankarms, they are different widths.
