I’m sure someone said this worked well. It was discussed.a month or so ago.

If you need a new one it doesn’t have to be a polar one. Any will fit.

If anyone wants some polar HRM from this period as spares or repair let me know

Fair point doc, also evo spares seem a little easier to find too

Not really. Think the evo has slightly less drag but the conversion for a new axle, bearings and end caps won’t be cheap

Actually doesn’t look like it needs replacing though

That’s a pro 2.. Pro 2evo will not work without replacing all the internals

Scotroutes, Lewis is in contract until the end of 2018, can’t see this incident changing much at this stage.

I don’t have di2 so can’t help on your first point but on the second I would definitely remove the rear mech. I’d be worried about breaking it off.

may want to remove the street name from up there, since you’ve expressed you’ll be getting a new bike.

doesn’t look hugely comfortable, but then I expect I have a different sized bottom to you.

As many have said above – a spoon or a flux tends to be popular for the mass number of bottoms on STW

    Fair enough.

Although I still wish Cannondale did an update of this.

Which bits? Surely the bike in the post above yours is the update to this? From a marketing perspective it certainly includes the modern trends, I accept the slate is no longer an out and out cross bike. Maybe a compromise the wrong way?

Probably the same saddle, The spoon and a flux are the Same.
I’m pretty sure you can just pop the rail back in though if you try again

I’ve fitted many bb5s and never seen the band to which you refer. Should be fine with out

It’s a proprietary tool for a cannondale headshok

I would want a map or GPS route. Its easy to miss a couple of junctions, esp when tired or going quick.

If it was out of warranty fair enough. But at 10 months old that is ridiculous.

Edit, get it back and get it mended as above. Or try to get Dave’s email address also as above.

Hard to day as there are so many different variants of both Reba and Sid. But iwould prob say new Reba.

Again.whether it’s adjustable or not will prob depend on the variants

As above, if its that bad i reckon you’ll end up needing the axle side too. I would try a wanted ad here before buying new

I suspect it’ll be fine. Just keep an eye on it for the next couple rides.

Cranks are aligned. I swapped the chainset and pedals from another bike and the problem is resolved, so it’s definltley one of those.

    Further diagnosis tomorrow.

Hhmmm bent crank arm or pedal axle might be my next look. Could be chainring.

It seems to be with every revolution so I guess it needs to be something at the front.

    Thanks

Yeah i did think it was a reflex in my legs but it’s fine on a different bike.

Oh and it does it when I’m standing so it’s not something random like a broken seatpost

Thanks for the input everyone. Much appreciated. I just wanted to check I wasn’t missing an obvious upgrade route.

Think I’ll run with mechanical brakes for now and upgrade to hydro as and when the groupset wears out

As legend says don’t touch the caliper end. There are some guides about which mean you won’t have to bleed either.

    http://www.epicbleedsolutions.com/blog/shorten-shimano-hoses-without-bleeding/

Here you go swapping levers will make it slightly more fiddly but I managed it so it should be easy enough

They are indeed pro 2. I’ll buy your old qr end caps and axle if you change them

    YouTube vid sounds ideal.

For now I’ve ordered the goodridge cable as suggested above. Anyone know what end caps I should use with it??

    Thanks
