Morning all,

Looking for some new levers (flat bar) for my BB7 roads. Levers need to have cantilever pull ratio. Was thinking of some of the Shimano caliper (as I think they have the same pull ratio as cantilever) levers but some of the nicer ones (Ultegra etc) seem to use some other pull ratio.

Can anyone recommend some nice levers at a reasonable price (around £20) that will work well with the BB7 Roads.

Avid SD7. I have two pairs of these with BB5 and BB7 Road brakes – bargainous at £13, too.

I thought the SD7 levers were linear pull for V brakes?

Well, they’re working just fine with my BB5 and BB7 Roads! The “Speed Dial” bit allows you to adjust the cable pull. 😉

They’ve been fine for my calipers, straight out of the box.

Cane Creek Flat-top, but they are over budget (£30 if you shop around).

I’ll do a bit of Googling and see what I can find out about each lever type
