    What’s the next operation for?
Hope you get it back to usable soon.

I’m 55, I’ve slowed down over the last few years, and as above, I know I won’t mend as quickly as I used to.
    I’m still enjoying it, though.

Salsa Bend 2, come in 17 or 22° flavour.
I’ve got some 17° ones you can try, if you want?

    Bad news.
I’ll keep an eye out for it.
I’ve posted a link on the Bad Brains forum.
    Fingers crossed.

It never occurred to me that this wouldn’t be true.

FeeFoo, I’m in the same boat. I’m thick, though, so not sure whether to laugh.
I’ve been logged out quite a few times over the last week or so (Android tablet and phone). When I’ve gone to log back in, the tick’s been gone from the box. Who’s doing that, then?

He was indeed “brisk (with a capital F)”!

Go at it from that top, through the head tube. Knock it out using a metal rod (some’ll say screwdriver, I use a long piece of aluminium round bar). Make sure you keep it as square as you can, tap one side, then the other.

I had grief with the woman on the checkout, when I went to get my Lake winter boots and pedals.
The deal was “Get 25% off cycling shoes or boots, when you buy a pair of pedals.” She thought it was cheeky of me to expect any more off.
It was the manager (Wakefield store) who sorted out the BC 10% discount for me.

I bought a Bizango last November. I joined BC, waited for a 10% discount weekend, and got the bike for £486.
All I needed to get the BC discount was my BC card.

A couple of years ago, weren’t Continental tyres deforming at the sniff of a bad landing?
OP, is it a Conti, perchance?

    Edit: Beaten to it.

I’ve had DHB bib shorts and longs for quite a few years, never had any problems with them.

On Friday, I’m planning on parking somewhere near Pickering, then riding up to watch them climb out of Rosedale.
On Sunday, me and the wife are riding into Wakefield to watch the start, then I’ll be riding over to Leeds for the finish.

    Pilates class works for me.
Improves core strength taking the weight off my back, and straightens my shoulders out.

Do what TroutWrestler says, but loosen the reservoir caps off and leave it overnight. Overnight bleed.

It’s a bit noisy, but I expected that.
I’m glad I bought it, especially at the price I paid. :-)

    They’re about £50, aren’t they?
I bought one a couple of months ago when they were reduced to twenty odd.
It managed a Conti on to a Superstar rim easily enough. I’m not sure how it’d fair with a difficult to seat tyre/rim combo, though. It’d fill the ghetto bottle easier than the track pump, I’m sure.
