Because you can cut a porkpie with a creditcard

Do that within twenty miles of Melton Mowbray and you’ll be hanging from the nearest gibbet within minutes.

Osprey are pricy for a reason – great build quality, but also simply better designed than anything else. Sorry, that’s two reasons. Oh, and they are comfy too. Our three main reasons…

They also have a really good approach to supply chain, employee welfare and sustainability.

    They’re a good company.

I tried some of those a few years ago and the sizing was, to put it mildly, odd!

They were tight around my calves, loose on my thighs, then tight around the plums. Very odd. May have been a one of/defective pair, I suppose.

A shame, as they looked a great pair of winter tights. Advice would be, try them on if you can!

If she’s anywhere near a branch of Mole Valley, they’ll have many choices to suit. Their website is shonkier than a shonky thing, though.

    Slight edit…

Decide on budget, look at Richer Sounds and John Lewis websites – buy whatever you like the look of.

I have a sausage roll in front of me. From the outstanding Robinson’s in Stockbridge.

    Which is nice.

Back on some old familiar tracks on the Plain. A long day of constant headwind, almost all uphill and almost always raining. Or so it seemed! Bloody marvellous though. Pics taken at about the only time it wasn’t raining!

There was a lot of traffic. Understandably, they got right of way!

So tempting to stealth link it in this thread… https://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/songs-that-sounds-amazing-through-decent-headphones

I accidentally whammed myself. By accidentally singing it to my self.

Not the original, you’re still in the game.

Almost feel that rules need a Covid amendment.

WFH, and would never tune the radio to a station that might play it. Not travelling, so no chance of getting whammed in a taxi, etc.

Some of the danger has gone.

    Hmm.

Burgh Island is an excellent place, with attendant pricing!

If we’re doing South Devon, how about somewhere nearby, The Thurlestone.

    https://www.thurlestone.co.uk/
(Nice walk to the Sloop at Bantham for a few beers while you’re at it!)

Whereabouts are they based though? Travel time, etc might play a part in further suggestions.

If it must be beepy, then G-Shock would be worth a look, but they can be a bit spendy. Tough as old boots, though.

If not, Timex, as mentioned above.

And the size isn’t too huge?

    *Resists obvious joke*

It’s not phablet massive, and she seems happy with it overall.

Personally, I prefer something a little smaller, currently a Samsung S10e, but that’s a bit over budget!

Nicko, Mrs CFH has a G8+.

Original one developed a faulty fingerprint sensor, was replaced on warranty. Since then the replacement has been faultless. Given the cost, it’s very impressive.

Something concrete that will actually achieve something for the people of this country, particularly the ones the labour party is meant to represent, given that this is hugely important moment in the middle of a pandemic with many lives at stake.

A show of solidarity with comrades in Venezuela. That’s whats needed at this critical time.

I think it’s the higher frequency impacts from the terrible road surfaces that’s to blame.

I think it may be more a fit issue than tape. However, assuming you’ve had a proper bike fit (Because you have, haven’t you…) Lizard Skins or Spesh Roubaix tape are bot excellent. Spesh also do the Body Geometry Bar Phat which, IIRC, comes with the stick on gel pads.

I think you massively exaggerate the time and effort people in the labour party devote to Palestine

Remember when flags were banned from the party conference. Well, Union or EU flags anyway…
