The tiles are made of galvanised steel which are covered in weatherproof granules.
Often used on Mc’ds drive-throughs, Morrisons, mobile homes, etc.

Very light weight and will last as long as the structure remains standing.

There’s certainly some harsh critics on here!

There are four double electrical sockets, two on the left where the main workbench will be, one on the back wall for the 748’s battery optimiser and one on the right wall for general use.

The room is carpeted and the bike took 5 minutes to manoeuvre into place (back and forth many times)!

The roof has lightweight tiles which are sealed well against the house, very unlikely water will come in.
Lead was considered however there’s a good chance it may get pinched so I’ve gone for the damage limitation option. I can always put lead or flashing up at a later stage if there’s issues.
The pitch of the roof appears shallow but is well within its limits for good water flow.
I’ve tried to get the maximum height as possible for the outside wall to allow for room.

As a new dad I’m not really using the bike on the road at the moment and am put off by more and more fatal accidents happening. It’ll probably just be used on track days in the future but the belts will need doing first.

Not sure if this helps, but check out my vid with the helmet cam for an idea on how to feather the rear brake.

    Keep practicing, it’ll soon click…..

I still haven’t managed to find the start of 200m!

I’ve been to the top crest of the fire road at the top of Head Down and seen a few of the other trails but not 200m.

I’ve had the same problem. I bled the hose today as thats meant to sort the issue but that hasn’t worked (the hose is now litterally air free).

When I sit down its dropping by about half to three quarters of an inch.

I’m a new dad, own a new(ish) 3k bike and also like to ride as often as possible.

As much as I enjoy spending time with my family, it’s still important to get out often to do the things I enjoy.
If I didn’t, I’d probably be quite unhappy.

Even though I ride less now, I wouldn’t even consider getting rid of my bike.

The whole time you are looking after your bike and enjoying it when you can, the value of it is irrelevant if its the loss you’re concerned about.

I went a week ago and it was running nice, fast and dry.

Went yesterday and it was slippy and soft but only due to the overnight snowfall which had melted that morning, otherwise still great fun!

That sucks that you’re not racing Scott. You’ll have to make a Strava section and post a time prior to the event to see where you might have ended up…..

I managed to get out for a ride today and the trails were running great!

3 minutes into the Lumberjack section I had become too complacent then ended up having a big front end washout on Snakebites! It hurt!

I will blame that on this mornings rain!

The start of the best section….

End of the ride – almost clean!

I started a similar thread a few weeks ago about “Show me your Man Caves”.

Some people were happy to share, others not so much.

That feeling that you get when you realise you’ve just completed the full 100 miles of the South Downs Way after 17h 20m and which you obsessed over and trained for for months prior to completing it. Content is a feeling that sums it up….

Well since I haven’t ridden it since last year and wouldn’t normally ride it in poor conditions, so I wouldn’t really call myself a major contributor to any long term damage that is being caused.

I just thought the place would vastly benefit from a bit of all-weather hardcore. I fully appreciate this comes down to funding.

TheBrick – I agree. Thats why I haven’t ridden it since last year…

I think some may have taken this the wrong way. I think the collective do an awesome job in maintaining and adding to the excisting trails.

Its just a shame that the good work is spoilt when the trails are ridden when the ground is too soft.

Just sharing my experience, not really complaining. I enjoy the park as much as the next person…
