I’m sure it just costs the same to add it later as it does at the time of booking. £70 for the bike and £30 for hold luggage. Just go to “manage booking” when you want to add your bike/case.
I had a 29er frame for about a year before selling it on. Couldn’t fault it really. Only reason I sold it was I needed to put a Hamax child seat on my bike and didn’t fancy clamping one onto a carbon frame, so ended up buying an alu Highball.
I’ve bought some of the 35mm rims and gave them to an lbs to build up. Just had them on the phone asking if any ferrules came with the rims for nipples to sit on or do they just sit straight on the carbon. He says it doesn’t look very beefed up so isn’t confident of building them without ferrules. So which way is right?
Sorry if it doesn’t make sense, I know nothing about wheel building. TIA
If you’ve got a Les Lindarets start then thats where you’ll pick your pack up from, number board, lift pass etc. So yeah you’ll have to start from there.
Doesn’t matter which way you go from Les lindarets either.
It’s the end caps that fit inside the bearings and not the axle. There is a bit of play when I put the axle through the hub without putting it in the forks, which I suppose will be exaggerated when I’m holding a 29er wheel by the tyre and moving it side to side. I’ve just never heard of anyone having to replace end caps and Google didn’t return any info on it.
