WE have ordered a Retractable door, which was sold to us as being secure(ish). But if the tumblers can be removed in seconds I cant see how having multiple secure points makes them any more secure.

Update- Only now have I been able to check out the garage- taken months to buy the house the garage came with.

The broken door wasn’t unable to be locked the key had been lost.

Took lesss than a minute with a HSS ( it was new) bit and a Dewalt drill. No screaching almost noise free. Shocked at how quick and easy it was to get in.

WTF is the point of having a locking system that is so easy to get past?

Just put together the four bike version on my own. If you can use a screw driver you can put it up.

I have a desk job now so I really enjoyed building it, took about an hour and a half. two bodys would do it in about 40m.

The lid hinge was the only tricky part. I used parcel tape to hold the backs of the hinge bolts in place.

So I wouldn’t recommend paying for th build up.

IMO leaving your kids in the hotel room is not good, never mind in a restaurant that is not in the same building.

I have a GT Omega ART frame wanted the Pro but like having the

Thrustmaster T3PA Pro 3 Pedals Add-On inverted but you cant with the PRO.

Using the following hardware

THRUSTMASTER TH8A Add-On Gear Shifter

Thrustmaster TS-XW Racer Sparco wheel

with a Buttkicker Gamer, SBB2 Button Box & loadcell attached. Hopefully this will all be an effortless transfer to PC.

We have Forza, in fact had all the Forza games since the 360 version and get a nice started bonus with each version based on previous purchases But the newest one looks stunning and the in car detail is superb but it still feels arcade in nature and I’d rather use pad than wheel. Horizon is another beauty that is perfect for the console, its beyond terrible with the wheel

We have the four bike version which is ace and by far the best and most secure bike store I’ve had. I’m aware nothing is impossible to get into but the noise and effort to get into it are reassuring. IMO 😃

The four bike version is tight for three bikes though (27.5 wheel MTB, CX, road bike) and I wouldn’t like to have four squashed in. We now have six bikes between myself, wife and son so need another. Happy to pay the £500 plus for the shed but struggle with parting with cash for the shelve. Might be a Scottish thing 🤔

Alex – I’m glad I’m not the only one that struggles with Horizon on the wheel/pedals. F1 2017 was amazing on the default settings but even after lots of research on the forums and tweaking settings I can barely drive in a straight line in Horizon 3, never mind go round corners.. Forza 7 is better but I think I’m going to have to concede to Horizon being a pad/controller game as you note.

Looking at the dischord group I am on for sim racing most are on the pad for for FH4, sure the others are either bullshitting or forcing themselves. to use their expensive purchase for everything.

Been a big fan of all things Forza since the 360 original. Not played Forza 7 much since I put my wheel and pedals in the workshop to play PC2.

Played this last night and it plays and look ace. 100% arcade and Its terrible with the wheel/pedal option IMO.But we have Xbox one X and 4k TV in the house so “every cloud” I can play it when ever with the pad..The detail in the cockpits are superb.

Edinburgh is really good, Project Gotham racing on the 360 had Edinburgh as a street race but this way way better.

The map is bit weird as it made from parts of the UK joined together and the cheesy story are bit too cool for n old man like myself :)

Three cats and a dog that came with the wife. Dog is a pain in the arse. Needs walking, feeding, his shit picking up &  head patting far to often. He also stinks, he digs up the grass a add holes all over garden. West highland terrier.

Cats are just ace. Exercise themselves, can eat when they want (if the white thing hasn’t hoovered it all up), they shit in the neighbours gardens, they don’t smell.

They do wreck the furniture which is a bit annoying.

I’m guessing when you say ‘taking possession of’ that the garage is remote from your house? Possibly in a block of garages?

You may not be able to fit a roller door depending on height/headroom.

I would fit double outward opening doors with a good concealed lock and if greater security is required without making it an advert for valuable things within I’d be fitting a secondary steel grill and door inside.

It is across the the road from our house. There is a  building at the end of the road that is two garages. It had a tiled pitched roof so I’m not to worried about theft from above  but the door is broken because someone tried to break in. Also had my bike stolen from my van when I was lazy and left it in overnight. It’s defo not a crime free zone but no Wild West.

So I’m back at square one ☝️

Spotify Family is one of life’s bargains IMO 😃

Used to get the £9.99 sub free with Vodafone but now pay for the family sub.

I am a big fan and use it daily. Driving to work, at work and at home in workshop/ game room.

Tried amazon unlimited, but I just like how Spotify works, not sure if Amazon plays/introduces new artists after playing your selection or not but this has unlocked so much new music that has always been there but I was never exposed to it.

And we have so many play lists between myself, wife and son wouldn’t want to transfer them over.

The selection on Spotify is amazing, not much I have not found from years ago , some have so few plays its  listed only as less than 1000.

Mmmmm, I like the mix up with the ballast & tyre choice, seems to spread out the podium places to more than a few.

Track selection is limited to what the UK has to offer, they use all the UK circuits that can accommodate their package. Knockhill is not great for overtaking but is always provides entertaining races but I am not a fan of the BH Indy circuit.The GP circuit is ace though.
