  • Xt double chain set with triple front mech – does it work?

    I’m planning on putting on an xt double chain set.
    Can I use an xt triple front mech that I’ve got or do I need a double front mech?
    Shifters are 2012 xt so can be set to 2×10.

    a triple will work fine. amazingly you can even use a triple front shifter.. just shift two gears and set the mech stop…..
