Some slight damage from a tree falling on it while driving at 60mph or so down the A303 earlier today.

Scary stuff. It’s something that happens to other people, isn’t it? Not any more for me.
Branch the size of my forearm came through the screen and landed in my lap. Roof rails smashed. Boot nearly ripped away at the back.

All safe though. Shaken, but all OK.

I had a branch bounce off the windscreen driving through Bruton (about 10miles off the A303) about an hour ago, I faired better than you luckily!

Luckily we were right by the Wherwell junction and got off the road quickly.

Police were excellent, clearing up the tree. Recovery all done, car gone. Will be written off, I’m sure. Wanted to replace it sometime soon anyway!
