I have a Synology NAS drive, which is working fine with my PC.

However, the DS Video app on my Samsung TV, doesn’t show all the video files on the drive. There are around 6 that don’t show up. The others show and play fine.

They are all in the indexed video folder, they are a mix of formats, some avi and some MP4.

I can see them in the folder on my PC but they don’t show on the app on the TV.

    Any suggestions?

yerh dont bother with the ds app, its rubbish.

enable the dnla settings then your tv, which I am guessing is networked will browse the 3 predefined folders, music, video and pictures, without the need for authentication and will play every thing via the tv

I’ve got my TV and Synology NAS setup as DLNA. Seems to work fine. Only thing I miss from Kodi is the artwork and search function. But TBH we watch most stuff via streaming services now.
