I have en521 rims to go on pro 2 hubs

I've used the dt swiss calc and comeup with the following measurements

Front

disc side – 258.5
right side – 257.7

Rear 135 spacing

The Hubs and rims are 32 hole

disc side – 258.5
cassette side 257.7

Basically can people double check on their favoured calculator and post up to either confirm or deny this.

Was hoping to use the original spokes on my x317's but they're a bit too long so worse case i'll just order some a few mm shorter than these.

Scrap that – as spokes are 36 on that calculator?

How much "too longer"? There is given and take.

Oh and if you can compare ERD or equivalent on the mavic website that will be an easier answer.

yes compared the erd and got 535mm from mavic's rim spec

Forgot to put the 32 hole drilling in and i'm going for 3 x

the spokes i've tried are coming to the end of the threaded section on almost all of them and the threaded bits are poking out the top of the nipples before the rim is sufficiently taut on all the spokes.

Wheel pro says 3x ERD of 532mm = 255.9mm L – 257.7mm R for Front

and 257.1 L and 256.2mm R for Rear ?

I think it depends on what exactly the ERD IS as we have both come up with different values – thats where the problem lays – Maybe ask if someone knows the exact ERD on here?

Lace up up 6 opposing spokes and see how much too long they are.

Or measure the ERD on both rims and compare that.

It needn't be rocket science though it seems that way with calculators.

Merlin reckon on 260 and 262 which is another answer
