I just hope it’s better than the crushing disappointment that was Overlord, where the trailer was better than the actual film.

Sisu is great. Just like Renfield.

For a very specific version of ‘great’. Citizen Kane it ain’t.

I saw it a few weeks back. I gave it an 8/10. Refreshing to see a movie that is fairly simple, well-executed, and not full-on Hollywood cgi.

Reminiscent of inglourious basterds with its over the top nazi-killing.

I saw it last week. Definitely along the Inglorious Bastards theme, less dialogue and simpler storyline. Entertaining for an evening

The one I watched was dubbed. But there’s hardly any dialogue. Mostly just angry faces.

Well, based on the trailer and actual reviews, I’m ignoring that and going to see it, if it comes to my little multiplex.

I saw Kermode’s review of it, and frankly it sounded right up my street. Basically disposable, entertaining and (as he put it) squelchy, without any pretence of being high-brow or any such. There’s also huge amounts of promotion for it in London – posters in every tube station, on the side of every other bus etc
