I know there's probably loads of you that don't watch it but watching these inept muppets designing an E-Bike has to be worth an hour of your life - just for the sheer LOL/head in hands factor. Weds BBC1 9pm.
Nice One. I don't normally watch, but could be a good opportunity to shout my obviously 'expert' opinion at the TV....
Thought there might have been a bit more interest in this is it's bikes - oh well.
Bump for lunchtime bods if you missed it.
The whole episode could be about painting Gal Gadot in chocolate and I still wouldn't watch it
I didn't think many people on the Chat Forum side were still interested in bikes? :p
The whole episode could be about painting Gal Gadot in chocolate and I still wouldn’t watch it
I'd watch that.
Work away all day, every weekday, each week and normally avoid this but - this will be.......interesting.

I’d watch that.
You'd try to lick it off her through the CRT screen.
It'd look like a Thorntons personalised egg by the time you'd finished.....
Going to give it a go… I expected to be annoyed.
So the 'pillah' salesman is leading one team, and the other team think yummy mummy's and parents are a target audience. Haaahhaaa
Sorry, I tried to watch it, lasted 8 minutes.
Surely they just missed the most obvious one, the electric brompton-alike.
one of them even mentioned it
“What 40 year old man wants wit ride a bike with a white rocket on it!?!” 👍
"but she doesn't have a bike and I do"
Oh. My. ****ing. God.
That luxury womenswear salesman makes my fists itch
its like STW argues.
classic BSO
Comedy gold this.
That bright red and orange bike looks like a hire company bike
Just back from walking the dog and found it was on. **** me cockney geeza is annoying.
They literally have no clue at all.
this is awesome
Strategic clipboard there.
Jesus.
One team seems to have simply created an One-one E-space Chicken!?
This is really bad for my blood pressure.
Which skips stores will these bikes be available in?
Lol, would need an e-fit to identify the people who bought the bikes. Mainly as they would be wearing balaclavas for riding them
Cheers Kelvin I knew it was a name for something.
Anyway I think that’s me done it’s just awful.
Oh God, STOP TALKING!!!!
They're cringingly awful.
They all distress me.
Sophisticated Sarah - you could see the reaction from the buyers - WTF !
Biggest collection of oxygen thieves outside of the HoC since last year's apprentice
I'd have gone down the budget route, create robust bomb proof e bikes which don't need much tech knowledge or cleaning. Coloured either TdF yellow or Sprint green. Sign me up Lord Sugar.
£1m wtf
Be interesting to see how many sold.
Those tools sold ONE AND A HALF MILLION QUID’s worth of bikes to the bike industry?!?!?
(Surely it was all for telly though, I mean, they didn’t really sell them?)
Why don’t they say how much profit that amounts to? If the challenge is just about turnover… they could just sell on thousands of those stupid helmets with little to no margin to help get the big figure.
£1m wtf
Thing is, that basic blue e-bike with a nice little basket - perfect commuter bike, easy sale to people for a gentle pootle round the park, to the shops or a short hop to the office. It looked OK.
The selling was cringeworthy true but the bike shone through that.
The other team with their garish lycra - it's a showpiece thing that you put out to gain a bit of attetion for your brand, not soemthing that the vast majority of people would consider buying. Same with the bike, it's a shit design with mixed messages about what it's for and the e-fit name is dreadful.
I'd be interested to see the trade price figures for the bikes and the actual profit margins.
Will the orders actually be built/ fulfilled?
No, they’re not proper orders.
Still watching as Mrs has been on the phone which involves shouting down it, so no point on changing over.
Probably explains why everyone is making e-bikes

As predicted, a total bunch of clueless tards. What was far less predictable was that people would actually buy them!
What was far less predictable was that people would actually buy them!
if they’d been a real product I’d very much doubt they’d got any orders.
