Anyone got experience of resoling their non 5-10’s with stealth rubber? Sole on my AM7’s have got big holes in them but rest of the shoe is fine. A resole is quite pricey at £45+ so trying to work out if it is worth it. Will I get as much life out of a resole as I would a brand new sole, or is it less durable in any way?

I resoled my north face mule slippers with some £1.79 eBay soles and a tub of contact adhesive(NOT the solvent free stuff) TOTAL bodge, but an upgrade and I get to experience the cheesy – peppery aroma of my slippers for a little bit longer.

I was considering some spot repairs on my Sombrio shoe soles yesterday, couldn’t decide between Sugru or bitumin.
