[#10856036]

Stanchion measures 160mm, Fork WAS a 140mm sektor. Removing the spacer to up travel to 150mm has resulted in 160mm of stanchion showing. Solo air 2016 moco sektors

What have I done wrong? All bits back and correct order?

Did you measure the 140 fork as 140 of stanchion? Maybe the 140 fork had 150 of stanchion showing, but only 140 of travel.

Did you measure the spacer, you’ve possibly removed a 20mm spacer..

Don’t recall sektors coming I 160 mm though, so you’ve probably got a bit of extra stanchion showing.

I would be concerned about how much stanchion you have in the lower bushing on full extension. 20mm of "new" travel could have reduced the overlap significantly.

10mm is fine - as they can go up to 150mm. Will take them apart again and see what’s what. Just can’t understand how taking a 10mm spacer out has made 20mm of difference????

Did you cycle them a few times after inflating to transfer air to the negative chamber?

Was watching this thread with interest as I have the same thing planned.

Glad it all turned out alright.

LOL. Not sure I'd be happy riding a fork assembled by a "retarded" guy.

It’s my fork - in my defence it was after work, I’d been up for three hours in the night with our baby and on the go for 17 hours when I did it. So probably shattered not retarded

Things like this are why I stopped drinking beer while doing bike maintenance.
