2. Ladybower-Lockerbrook-Screaming Mile-down to Fairholmes-round reservoir- up slabs then down the Ladybower Inn cheeky to finish.

3. Ladybower-Lockerbrook-Hagg farm descent- cross Snake Pass-up Hope Cross-down Win hill descent to finish.

I agree, always down lockerbrook/gores

There’s a footpath up <link removed>here</link removed>/ but it’s not on a map. superb ridge ride, then drop down either the bridleway or more cheek down to the campsite. Very good when dry, but not something I’d reccommend doing on your own, some decent sized drops off to the right.

How about Hope, Shatton, Shatton edge, TV mast, Bradwell Edge, Pindale, Dirtlow rake, Cavedale, Pint of Blonde in Castleton, Mam Tor old road, Hollins Cross, Edale, More ale, then back to Hope. 3 hours tops. 😀
