Here's a very brand new (ex display) Cube Editor 2019 purchased from Austria just before the EU doors slammed shut, in small 46cm (44cm centre to top).
I'm a bit of a weird size so geeked out on what would fit for quite some time, and this came up trumps, i'm really pleased with it so far, does 8 miles each way every day & i've done some 40 / 50 mile rides too.
Changes to original spec that i've made: BrandX inline seatpost (came with setback), Shimano M520 pedals, Fizik Gobi saddle, cut the stock handlebars down to 23" & fitted Ergon GS2 grips (for added bar ends), fitted my SKS Longboard 45mm mudguards over the stock 42mm tyres & applied 3M Scotchlite in black to forks / headtube / rear mudguard.
Gates CDX throughout, Shimano Alfine 11 & Deore.

The bike came REALLY dry from the factory, zero grease in the EBB, minimal everywhere else, so i've stripped most of it and thoroughly greased for a British winter on the roads & tracks. I've not brought a complete bike for a while, it's pretty poor not to grease it.
Runs really quiet after a spell of squeak sorted by a bit of silicone spray on the belt, Alfines smooth so far with the odd random clunk in 6th, 42c tyres roll well & offer comfort on my bumpy commute, i quite like the feel of the belt drive, i might add an Ortileb handlebar bag & ditch the rucksack pending sorting out my lighting needs.

If I was being really picky, the front mudguard isn't 100% even distance from the wheel all round, teeny tiny gap showing. That aside, very nice indeed.
Now with a rack, the Tubus is a very simplistic approach.

@Qwerty have you got an updated review of this? Looking at a more regular 10-12 mile each way commute (with some Yorkshire hills) and not wanting to put my nice gravel bike through a UK winter of road mashing.
@ahsat it's a great workhorse, I've added Ergon grips with built in bar ends & really like them, commuted daily since December on it without issue, Alfine cable length (184mm) & tension is crucial, if I put the power down too fast during a gear change it can crunch but only sometimes, I've done some panniers touring on it and I think it rides better with weight, I've done a loaded 100 miles on road & gravel with the stock slicks @ 40psi and it was great, standard gearing was far too big for me - I think the top gear was the same as 52/11 so I've fitted a 38t chainring & bigher cog & chain drive to drop the gearing which suits loaded hills much better, Gates GTX carbon drive kit is SUPER expensive and not as adaptable as a chain and sprockets, a 1.6kg hub is a bit of an anchor when lifting the bike but ok for commuting - I wouldn't want one on my MTB! I've also fitted a cheap inline post and reflective tape. It's not light or sprightly but it's fine for commuting. Has mounts for mudguards & rack. Everything was dry from the factory so take some time and grease everything properly - I ran the wheels for a bit and then did the front hub too. Rear oil change is a doddle.
That's very similar to my Kona Bike.
Shimano Nexus 3-speed hub with back-pedal coaster brake, front roller-brake with dynamo. Crap is carried in a Carradice saddlebag with SQR clamp. Job done.
Coolest accessory is a Tiger bell.
