Two reduced price steel frames on enigma’s site, both 17 so too small for me 😥

Very nice!! Interesting to notice that they have changed the chainstays and drop-outs in production. Geek alert there, sorry 😉

It is very light for steel. Swapped over from a 6 year old Van Nich Frame. Ride is very similar, the steel is a little less flexi, I would say taut, but still comfortable. Not tried anything daft on it yet. Look forward to doing so.

Kryton, good to see it muddy. Me, I’d take the stickers off the rims, they distract from the frame.

Hmm, not sure, will it look better?

Nice one Kuco – pleased with it? Whats your general impressions / first ride review?

Very wet and draggy today but so far really pleased with it, it seems to really come alive if you push it (on the bits I could). The DT forks seem a really good match for the frame and guess they be better once bedded in.

Just needs a slightly longer stem and new bars and when the wheels need replacing i’ll get more of a xc pair other than that i’m glad I took the plunge and brought it.

I’ve a 90mm on mine with a 690mm bar and it feels great. Agree with you, on the one (this weather huh?) dry ride I’ve managed to date it seems to carry its speed really well and just zing out of corners.

It seems quick uphill and the head angle / 100mm fork doesn’t seem to be very apparent, it just rides really well.

Glad you like it, worth the wait 🙂

It’s running a 50mm but I think it be spot on with a 70mm for me, I’ve got one lying around to try.

Yeah, Well worth the wait 🙂

    Very nice.
Out on mine again yesterday – could not even face taking it off road round here. Still to really find out what it can do. All I can say is that its reasonably quick on the road, not that that’s of any interest to anybody.
