I am finishing my current job on 31st march, it is mainly excel, a little vba but mostly formulae, crystal reports, cognos, data manipulation etc. Thinking about the next job, what would be the best skills to brush up on between now and then.

Just trying to get some ideas as to what it is worth me concentrating on. Is it worth me looking at SQL, VBA in more depth, etc. I am not sure what there is out there and what skills are most useful to an employer.

Probably go a bit deeper into SQL as thats what the back end of all the reporting packages rely on. Brush up on that and possibly look at ETL programming for DB work.
With that, you could peg yourself as a good all round reporting resource. Where are you located?
