    Are (9mm threaded?) QR nuts pretty much the same? It’s a lot for a new skewer.

    Mavic Crossride 06/07 ish.

    QR nuts are pretty much identical, I believe.
    Your LBS should have a stack of them somewhere which they could be pressed to part with!

    I’ve lost a few over the years. Always been able to swap them for one from another skewer without issue
