Thank you. It's an annual classic and a great waste of time.

Just to clarify they're sayings, not actually catch phrases.

A poor 22 and I'm the same, I'm sure I know them just can't get the right wording...I really hate these - they get posted and I always end up getting sucked in by them...hahaha, I end up wasting hours trying to work them out and never can then resort to assistance as I can't seem to walk away.
Given workload, I'm strangely happy to be doing this one.
As usual, thanks for posting this up!

what happens if you click the stuck thing? does it give you all the answers or just the one you're over?

Maybe it doesn’t want to be in there?

You shouldn’t help it.

This is like a new form of torture. 27 and that’s been a struggle. Needs clues.

Arrghhhh. Ok it’s for charity, it’s for fun. But could they not have given slight leeway for wording/syntax. A missing ‘and’ in a phrase and it’s sorry wrong answer.

So is that a clue or a request for payment! Think I’ve got it but doesn’t like my attempts to word it.

Up to 47 now.

Elephants trunk?

3 wise monkeys?

Postcard?

Bloody fish everywhere?

Whatever that deal is with the lampshade?

The leopard is annoying me. Surely there is only one obvious leopard related phrase.

The leopard is a phrasing one. It’s not can’t. It doesn’t

Cello with French flag and trainers?

It’s neither a cello, nor a violin. The sweatbands should help

Think of a more traditional instrument

Why would you wear trainers and a sweatband? It’s not a french flag.

Ones that I think are clues but I have no idea....

Crisps
Postcard
Copper lamp?
Trout
Elephants trunk
Picture with eyes
Picnic basket
Bottle with straw
Blank to-do list
Skiers
Playing cards
Empty chest
Antelope spitting water

That's misleading. The instrument is still a violin no matter what you call it.

Copper lamp?

Is it a lamp or an upturned bath? This isn't a clue, I'm stuck too!

37/62 and all gone quiet on here. The fact I have 1 more than the wife is the only thing keeping me sane. More clue trading needed.

up to 57/62 so far

identified what 3 of the remaining things are likely to be, but not the other 2. the chap on the floor could be (part of) 2 things, so that'd leave one more.
