There L450 bikehut lights are going cheap at the moment. £24. They are spit on for road use.

    Info here… http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&langId=-1&categoryId=312030&productId=896473&storeId=10001

Wonder how good the batteries are, tempted to get that to use with my solarstorm if the battery pack is decent.

    Cheers.

    DC 4.2V, 5,200mAh Li-ion Rechargeable battery pack

IIRC the MS lights tend to take 7.4V batteries, yep save you cash and just buy a really good one from MTB Batteries

For road use I have not found anything that is as good for the beam pattern. It can be used without blinding oncoming motorists.

Got one of these at my local Halfords. It was on the counter for £15. Got 10% BC discount as well.
