OK. Im hoping this turns up something useful!
Ive got a PDF file containing a number of columns of data which I need to put into an excel spread sheet. Is there a way I can export it easily? I cant seem to do it, although I have done it in the past. Is there any way of finding out if the pdf is protected so that I cant do this?

    Thanks in advance!

I think in Adobe Acrobat pro version you can save as different file types, in the past I've had PDF's converted (with various success rates!)to word format with tables in that I've extracted.

Or you mat be able to cut and paste direct from the PDF.

Sorted! I copied and pasted the said columns into word document. Saved as a rich text format document (not the normal .doc format). THen opened up in excel and delimted according to space. Brilliant. That could have been a pig of a job. Thanks for the reply though!
