None of Essex's balls of wool will be safe until this ferocious animal is captured/destroyed.

reminds me of a time people reckond they'd seen a kangaroo in a Cardiff suburb. Turned out to be a fox with mange.
That pic gets very fuzzy blown up, but I'm not seeing a lion.

That looks like a fat, tawny coated fox to me.

A flippin lion for gods sake. How much to scramble a chopper and 30 odd cops? Prats

It's in Essex. It's a snow leopard with extensions and a fake tan. No biggie.

Essex is near that London isn't it ?
And wasn't London attacked by a giant kitten once...?
These wounds take a long time to heal.

So the Essex Cop in charge on the Radio last night said he beleives there to be a wild big cat loose in Essex.. WTF where did a Lion come from?
Essex has a population density for 474 people per sq KM - you can't hide a fn lion in Essex! (compared to the Highlands with 8 per sq KM)

Looks like a rubbish photo of a toy stuffed lion to me!

Why are these "evidence" photos always out of focus and grainy?

I love the idea of there being big cats around and there is often pretty compelling evidence. I do however struggle with the fact that we live in an age where Prince Harry can't even get naked in a private room without being photographed, yet there is never a good photo or CCTV of these beasts. As others have said, you only ever see suspiciously grainy pictures. If that many people are seeing the Beast of Essex, in is bizarre that there isn't a good image somewhere.

One of the eye-witnesses interviewed by the BBC was called Bob Martin, I chuckled at that.

Loving the comments here guys. 8) ๐Ÿ˜†

If you look at the EXIF data of the picture it was taken with a Olympus compact with a telephoto focal length of 120mm.

Despite partaking of such stupidity as this.....

[img] [/img]

I sure as f... wouldn't be strolling around open ground with a loose big cat.

This is Tiny at WHF about to have lunch
