Need a new Hydration pack to replace a really old Hydrapak.

Needs to have a 3 litre bladder and decent but not excessive storage.

Also needs to have decent straps.

    Any recommendations.

    Cheers

    Steve.

I’ve got a Skyline , the weight sits on your lower back/hips rather than your shoulders.

Always preferred the Evoc 16l bags. Perfect mix of storage and build quality if a bit spendy
    Tried osprey, Camelbac, decathlon(btwin, queucha).

My lads have Evoc and Scott bags – brilliant things, well thought through, compression straps top and bottom. Both have the ‘inbuilt’ back protector, so a tad heavy.

I’ve an Osprey Escapist 18. It’s ok, but with a couple of daft things going on – compression straps only at the bottom, so forcing kit up high and floppy when half loaded. Too many pockets, zips, mesh, divider, pump holder etc etc. But it is comfy, real comfy, and lighter than the above without the back protection.
