You need to be careful with heavy metal as well.

You’d get pretty much the same benefit using hi float as you would with regular balloons

    Have you tried Stan’s? 😉

We are doing the gloss chrome with the silver inside a coloured balloon..

Gave it the usual squirt of hi float but it only lasted 2 days.

Qualatex are saying to try it without hi float or just a little bit.

    They don’t seem to know.

Normally a latex balloon with float in it lasts a couple of weeks.

I think the chrome ones are quite prone to flaws/ leaks. You need to buy / inflate more than you want expecting a percentage to be leaky

They might just be heavier too. A latex balloon can stay inflated but is gradually loosing boyancy. I’ve been experimenting with using them to lift little displays. The balloon can keep itself up for two weeks but it could only lift my wee objects for 4 days. So a heavier coating in the balloon might be the issue rather than leaks

I think it is the extra weight as the balloon stays up but doesn’t float.

Qualatex have been pretty slack on this. They should say if they don’t stay up as well as normal ones.

On a lighter note …. I tied a letter to a helium balloon once !!

The balloon with the ribbon around it to gauge deflation was filled 4 hours ago. Just gas and no hi float.

Any ideas why it has turned dull?

Ignore that funny skin coloured balloon in the middle!

A product that doesn’t degrade filled with gas we have a finite supply of.  Even better when these things are released into the wild.
