[#8045279]

Been discussing this with some old mates lately and its one that we can't put down, thought I'd open it up to the STW floor. Here's my current ten favourite MCs of all time, although not necessarily in order as I just can't decide which order to put them in. In fact my top ten constantly changes.

Rakim
Big Daddy Kane
Kool G Rap
KRS One
Chuck D
Talib Kweli
Vast Aire
MF Doom
Nas (Pre-massively over-inflated ego)
Ice Cube

What ya got?!

Yep love folk music too. Actually i like most things with a story in the lyrics, which I think applies to a lot of hip hop and a lot of folk music.

If he'd stopped after 2 albums Eminem would be on the list but pretty much everything after that was just awful

I can appreciate what a good lyricist Eminem is but I've just never been able to bring myself to like his music for some reason.

LOVE boardinbobs first list ๐Ÿ˜€

If we're mentioning pants rappers - Puff Daddy - he is terrible when he has a stab at MCing
