Trifle, bluruuk! Couldn't care less if I'd been naughty and my punishment was no trifle.

What's your most hated pudding?

EDIT: Hate is a tad strong. If you have hate for pudding please fume away. A distaste is also acceptable.

Bread pudding. FFS no. Or bread and butter pudding.

Tapioca (aka frogspawn)

For this you get no pudding - food of the gods.

Trifle, bluruuk!

You clearly never had my gran's sherry triffle; it was amazing.
Half a bottle of sherry in the triffle (and the other half in my gran while she made it)

Bread and Butter pudding is magical.
Tapioca is disgusting.
Semolina on the other hand...

Anything on the dessert menu at a Curry House.

If you can find somewhere selling it, Rasmalai is wonderful stuff.

See though I loved my mum cooking I alway hated her bread & butter pudding and so 'just' hated it & would never try it again. A very good friend & cook served up one, with white chocolate and panettone instead of bread and by god it's the food of the gods.

Never say never in my book, well except for Tapioca... it's just grim!

Them what's too sweet. 1. Have I missed the 'what's the best pudding' thread? 2. If so is it serialised?

A withheld pudding is a hated one, that's why I always help to tidy up.

Now I'm a bit confused. If pudding is withheld due to non participation in clearing up, that implies clearing up before pudding. What happens to the pudding dishes? Or will it be withheld on a future occasion?

Mine is rather specific... Bread and Butter Pudding cooked by my mother. It's vile stuff because she can't cook it at all.

Any other person makes it, it's nice. My mum's? Horrid.

I like most puddings - inc all those mentioned here - but anything with gooseberries is likely to get a raised eyebrow from me.

Semolina, makes tapioca look positively delicious.
Was a school meal staple, semolina slurry with a squirt of rosehip syrup - looked like blood streaked ectoplasm ๐Ÿ˜•

Christmas - there's a reason that people only want to eat it the one day of the years it's acceptable to start drinking with breakfast.

edit: Actually Sago is worse. Tapioca > Sago.

As long it has milk, fruit, nuts, chocolate, cake, cream or any combination of the above, I'm in.

Ah now I struggled with gozzgogs as a child - which was a problem as we had a bushfull in the garden. But now they seem OK.

When cash was a bit short, my mother used to make 'hard-up tart'. Neither prospect was very appealing.

Black Pudding is definitely revolting foulness.
Most others as well, to be honest. Bread and butter pudding makes me want to vom. Trifle is several layers of right all combined to make a whole lot of wrong. Tapioca is just wrong too.

That's just a pot of stuff.

Real homemade creme caramel is fine - though I prefer a plain baked egg custard.

Prunes and custard. Vile.

Semolina, tapioca etc are yummy, and bread and butter pudding more so (especially made with panettone or brioche). Jam roly poly is better than sex (as far as I can remember).

Off for a lie down now.

A yoghurt. I've got nothing against yoghurt really, but as a pudding it's a bit

"is that it?" and the bits of "fruit" that they put in them....hmmmm

How could anyone hate a pudding? There's some I would perhaps not choose, but given no choice, pudding is pudding and needs to be eaten ๐Ÿ˜€

On that note - Fromage Blanc. For a country that's invented so many enviable dessert, this is unforgivable.

After years of being force to eat a particular type.
For me it's rice pudding... not that I eat pudding much anymore as I attempt to keep some sort of racing snake form although I resemble at the moment an Anaconda that's eaten all the Capybaras.
