^ (Gentlemenandwomen bikers of a similar certain age will appreciate)

Had to laugh at the capcha phrase it generated when I uploaded to tinypic - 'Flannel Shirt' ๐Ÿ˜€

I'd like to set an auction for it and donate the proceeds to Bullheart's sponsor ride. Ebay?

I know i'm going to recieve a flaming for this but I really don't understand why JMC thought it was so cool to raise one leg in the air while doing a shit little jump?
And yes I am old enough to know how he raised the profile of UK mountainbikers.

Copy of the Scotsman, dated 30th August 1955, headline, Donald Campbell breaks speed record on ullswater, 202 mph

Plus, laughably an apology from the council for the extended running of the trams as the introduction of omnibuses was delayed.....

Found under the piss and puke stained biohazard of a carpet in a house we bought.

Because at the time, track standing, bunny-hopping and the odd superman was what we were all doing, as you'd know. To be photographed getting air and flicking leg/arm/cock out and looking all buff 'n' dat was aspirational!

Different times ๐Ÿ™‚

Edit: ..and it's a manual, not a jump?!

I think you'll find that waving your leg in the air like that doesn't come under any of those descriptions.
JMC did loads of cool shit but people always post pics of him looking a bit daft.

He's doing a one-legged manual
He's tanned & buff
He's riding a spesh
He's on the cover of an MBUK vid
He's JMC

That was cool.

Stop being such a miserable arse ๐Ÿ™‚

Maaaan, I feel like Lara Croft! In the ancient ruins of Kitchenalia I today discovered a dusty Breville toastie maker. Inside were the mummified remains of since-forgotten whimsical cultures. File forever under 'to be cleaned' (again).

My sister's OH was looking at some of the wiring in their newly bought flat when he discovered a partition wall through into a dead space behind their box room which turned it from being a small one bed flat into having two reasonable double rooms. They reckon it adds about 70 grand onto the value. I'm a bit jealous of that one.

Why would someone wall off a chunk of a room? Was there any weird stuff back there?

Apparently not, and it was fully plasered and so on. The theory they have is that someone couldn't stand having a room that wasn't square so they just boarded off about a third of the space. Since then it's changed hands and the new owners clearly didn't realise or they'd have been nuts to not up the price.

My mum bought a big flat in Bristol on Whiteladies road with access to the roof via the attic. My brothers and I found bags and bags of ladies sexy underwear. We spent a summer planting it in peoples cars, though letterboxes, decorating street furniture or dropping bits off the roof on passers by.

On drugs finds, at Glastonbury I found a dealers bundle ( a role of cash and loads of bags of hash, pills and acid). My friends mum found a bale of gold seal on a beach in west wales once and gave it all away to friends.

Back to houses, our current house had a tea chest of ladybird books and some massive slabs of mahogany in the loft. My friend who is a cabinet maker made two lovely tables from the timber and gave us one.
