Id go for a house with a workshop to build bikes all week long near the welsh borders.

What Bikes? Velocipedes to Penny farthings, anything and everything!

Meh, gotta dream!

Nice, modern house just outside London, with enough land for a small skatepark in a barn and some dirtjumps/pumptrack. Otherwise a house/apartment in the south of France somewhere, then the next thing to do is emulate Anthony Bourdains' No Reservations.

Buy another V6 Vectra...this one was full stripped back down to just two front seats, engine modified and full cold air system, braided fuel hose etc.

If won the lottery I would build a silly stupid engine, gearbox inside something akin to a touring car. (but still with the ratty exterior)

Oh get rid of that god awful van, for a Vito.

diesel

I'll need to spare some cash for the new house, red wine and malt whisky collections but it would enough to get me going for a few days post-win

Actually I would buy this.

I would too. I've already planned the MTB friendly bunk house business that could be run from the barn.

House in Mid Wales
House in America near my in-laws
First class transatlantic flights
Nice caravan
Nice car/van to tow it with
Olympus E-5 - not because it's the best at anything, but because I could afford to indulge in niche behaviour safe in the knowledge that I could also get a 5D, an OM-D or whatever else I fancied

But that's about it. I might set up a business to employ local people doing something fun and useful, and live off the profits.

After one of the recent draws the update thing they give after the BBC news said there were 6 or 7 lucky winners each winning ~£700k.

That wouldn't go far after all the hookers n' blow. Definately not going to get somewhere decent in the Alps.

Some local woodland with no official footpaths in it, but plenty of establish paths in it. I'd then ride round with my mates waiting for a jumped up nimby redsock to tell me that I'm not allowed to ride there. I would then have great pleasure in informing them that I am the landowner, they are trespassing and must leave immediately by the shortest route. Otherwise, I shall release the hounds*

*note to self, buy hounds as well

£100k - house deposit and a holliday/car.

<£1million - hosue, and some buy to lets so I could imediately retire relatively secure.

<£10million - land and lots of it, with a big hill and a chairlift system.

>£10million, the hill gets bigger.

I liked the style of the woman on Deal or no deal who had £250,000 and 10p and an offer somewhere in between.

She lost and her response was "well I wanted a £200,000 classic Bently, so the offer woudn't have been enough anyway".

if you're giving it away, can I have some?
The Pork Pie Charity Fund is always looking for donors.

Guns. Just guns.

not a bad idea as they will likely appreciate in value and you don't pay capital gains tax on guns

depends on how much - but lets assume we are talking £100 million + euromillions win -

Really nice family home near where I live now (North Kent)
Flat overlooking the Thames, near tower bridge - for nights out in London
Cars - starting with an Audi RS6, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and a Discovery 4.
Little place in the Alps for summer biking and winter snow.
motor home for festivals/events

I'd then quietly give a fair bit to various charities, including the one run by the doctor who is presently treating my little brother's incurable cancer - because without him, everything above won't be as good.
