Love the undertones, but 'teenage kicks' is just annoying.
Buzzcocks are great, but I can't help feeling that I've heard 'ever falllen in love' far too often.

I always thought that 'Where is my mind' stuck out as a Pixies song that didn't really fit with the rest of their output, and yet it's easily their most well-known. I don't dislike it, but I can understand why some Pixies fans do.

I dearly love My Bloody Valentine and have done since back in the day.
Never really got into Soon though, and don't even mention the dance remix.

They’re plenty better songs they did but definitely an overated band just like AC/DC

Dexy's did some cool stuff, but Come On Eileen is execrable.
"Love will tear us apart" is easily the weakest track in joy divisions repertoire.

Guns n Roses are most definitely NOT overrated, but they do have other songs that aren't SCoM.
Yeah Mikey, they have other songs which are well worthy of a listen or two.

Sorry to disabuse you of that particular notion, but G’n’R are [i]massively[/i] overrated, that strangled caterwauling makes my brain itch every time I have the misfortune to hear them on the radio.
I cannot conceive of any set of circumstances where I would voluntarily buy a G’n’R recording.
+1 on G&R - each to their own and all that but their flowery "glamrock dressed up as pseudo-metal" sets my teeth on edge.

Agreed. Although when they performed it at Camden Roundhouse as an encore even I was going mental.

The most glaring one for me is Underworld - 'Born Slippy'
Extra annoying on account of it originally scaring me away from this 'new' band Underworld everyone was banging on about. However I much later heard an LP of theirs and was completely hooked. Still skip past 'Born Slippy'. Every time. Grates to the nth.

Nah, Born Slippy was just shit.
They did peak with the first album though IMO.
Agree with Dexys / Eileen as well.
It mystifies me why King Prawn thought it was a good idea to put The Postman Song on their Surrender To The Blender album. Let alone twice!

I’m not quite sure bout the Massive Attack album I bought but can only remember it having a browny beige cover with a toxic icon on it.
