Didn't know about Vic Chesnutt until now. Time marches on regardless. He was a great songwriter and by all accounts a good man. You expect these people to be around for a long life.

Yep, really sad, not widely reported in the UK - i found out via a facebook group on boxing day morning. Gutted! Only 45, same age as me.
Loved his wordy ways and most of all his gentle harmonies and melodies, so subtle. 😥

Gutted, saw him years ago when he was supporting Kristen Hersh on tour, very sharp witty guy. Sad 😥
