I've needed glasses or lenses for as long as i remember, even in primary school.
I was reading in bed last night and was finding it harder to focus on the small letters in some of the articles. For some reason I tried without glasses - and crystal clear. Fine when I'm wearing specs, i can just take them off*, but now i may have to face up to needing reading glasses to compensate when I'm in lenses.
I might as well apply for my pension now.
(I'm 43 by the way)
*I'm not so bloody old that I'm considering bifocals, thanks very much.......
Your old when your balls are longer than your cock & your nasal/ear/eyebrow hair requires cutting more often than your head :/
That's definitely an age thing. In the past year I've found myself regularly looking over the tops of my glasses for close up work.
I don't wear lenses so can just either carrying on peering over, or just take the glasses off.
Welcome to middle age ๐
Happened to me this year (I'm 42), apparently it's what happens at "our age". Still a way to go until old though ๐

this too
Last haircut i had I was asked if I wanted my eyebrows and ear hair trimmed. I don't have earhair, i said, which created an embarassing silence.....er..... you do moment.
It's where I'm at as well. My mom has taken to calling me her middle-aged child.
Reference undesired hair, I use a Philips NT9110 Nose Hair Trimmer, and can recommend in as much as it works well for me, but with the caveat that I've not used anything else to compare it against.
When my 28 year old optician started to say "at your age, you can expect......" it was hard not to punch him in the face, but he was wearing glasses and you never hit a kid wearing specs do you?
Oh dear qwerty - not looking good here, however on the upside eyesight and hair fab. What size wheel for the wheelbarrow?
I have contacts & glasses for distance, generally contacts during the day / activities & glasses in the evening
However, I have recently found myself with my glasses perched on the top of my head rather than in front of my eyes when reading close things. I too am of that certain age
What size wheel for the wheelbarrow?
I own 3 wheel barrows and have a spare wheel... just in case!
