[#4133896]

Just had a customer in wearing YELLOW RON HILLS.

He left the door open on his way out too.

Shouldn't there be a euthansia programme for these sort of people? ๐Ÿ˜‰ etc

Yellow Ron Hills. Dear God! Surely you've a justifiable homicide right there

For some reason, picturing them made me think of the Mitchell and Webb 'Programmes they wouldn't let us make' list....

IMO white are worse. There's an old boy in our running club that has a pair.

There's a scrawny bloke at the local Park Run who turns up in what appears to be a full Skins bodysuit. You can tell which side he dresses on. yuck.

Ron Hills were only ever acceptable on "Bullet Baxter" in Grange Hill. The bloke is a legend in TV PE Teachers in my humble opinion.

Oh dear... ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I used to have two pairs of Troll(?) lycra climbing pants

- Flouro yellow with flouro green / orange stripes
- Black with pink / orange / green (?) harlequin type check

๐Ÿ˜ณ

But, no, I didn't wear them to the shops...

I wore a pair of black ones for a walking holiday a couple of weeks ago.

They now have a slightly baggy fit so you can't see any budgies.

I have nightmares about following my mate Geoff who used to wear purple wrong hills, with a selection of holes in at the wrong place...it was serious motivation to get ahead and stay ahead...

Top of Snowdon, steel frame, rigid, steel rims, brake blocks with strips of leather in to aid wet weather performance. No helmet, and cheese sandwiches and Vimto for 'nutrition and hydration'.

Tell that to the young people today in their baggy clown suits and 6 inches of travel.

navy ones perfectly acceptable IMO. Think mine might have given up the ghost, but grand for camping weekends and knocking about / old skool biking trips (see mcmoonter, above).

All Rons are unacceptable, it's the baggyness.

Tights should be tight

They are tight on me.... ๐Ÿ˜ณ

At least they're black, though. I used to have a shocking green pair, thankfully restricted to late 1980s climbing.
