I want a console to play PES or Fifa on.
Which console would be the best ? in your opinions of course :-).
Xbox apparently has the best online.

Agree with that. Was always into PES until I tried Fifa last year. Was amazed at how good it has become. It always looked good but now has the gameplay to match. 🙂
Can't comment on the Playstaion but the Xbox works for me.
Slightly OT, but I don't get the whole XBox online is better than PS3 online thing. I can play PS3 games, online, against other people. I'm pretty sure I could do that through XBoxLive as well. How is playing against other people online better than playing against other people online?
Either way, PES is an unmitigated disaster at the moment. The idiots involved in its "evolution" it from ISS Pro Evo 2 to the gubbins it is today need to be stood in a line and have penalty shots to the nuts until they see the error of their ways. Whatever you get, get FIFA.
