With the recent post that reminded us that some folk that like to buy used socks/trainers etc off ebay, for reasons that are absolutely fine and each to their own etc, I thought  I'd see how much I could get for mine that were about to go in the bin. All money, including costs/fees incurred, to St Gemma's.

From my <cough> research, it appears that some kind of backstory is required - usually some kind of 'scally' angle like "hard working scaffolder" or such-like seems to be the the usual.

This is where I need your help - what's your description of a set of overpronation shoes that will send people into sexually-motivated, insole-sniffing bidding frenzy?

Offending items (Try not to get too aroused)

Add in some teasers about wearing them sockless with a mild athlete's foot infection and the bids will start pouring in. Offer to throw in a partly-chewed Airwave to seal the deal.

Any visiting scammers will be additionally turned on by noticing you have a Barclaycard.

Some disturbingly useful stuff from scaredypants there! I don't want to look, but morbid fascination has taken over. Post the ebay link when they're up! 😆

These aren’t mine. My job involves the cleaning of crime scenes and these are from a genuine dead tramp.
