Nice one trickydisco. We are in similar boat waiting for our house in Arnside to go through (fingers crossed!).

Can't wait to have this view a short walk from the house

This time next week I'll be unpacking boxes in the Peak District. Well, about 100m from the Peak District.

Lasts longer than any other milk, dog’s milk.

Only 'cause no one will drink it.

You lot moving to the sticks, don't decide that it's a bit dark and some streetlights would be a nice addition - this seems to be a serious discussion between some of our new residents!

I feel lucky to have ended up with a bit of the best of both worlds. Rural East Sussex in a village that has a Mainline station 1;10 to London Bridge( wife commutes twice a week pre pandemic). Riding (road and Mtb) is great from the front door - no big hills but everything is lumpy and rolling.

^ austen - turns out they dont need streetlights, just relplace the halogen bulb with an led in that very old pir... the sensor being shot means that everything is lit up like blackpool from dusk till dawn

and don't forget some tasteful outside lighting that is always on - lighting up the front of your house, garden etc etc. It doesn't make your house look nicer and it is a real waste of energy.

Well, Cirencester, but yeah. Taking jobs with us, which is pretty handy (er, thank you Covid your kick-in-the-arse to homeworking).

Just completed 🙂 Pick up the keys tomorrow, this will (pretty much) be the view from our back garden
