Pure Wordle was a typical 4.
Worldle needed a map - but I've learned something.
Nerdle was excellent. First go, 3 digits, = in the wrong place and excluded only one operator. Got it on the second go!
Quordle was the best it could be for me. I throw 3 words at it to check 15 letters. So 4567 is my best possible score.
I'm resisting the temptation to just post result images as who is actually interested in anyone's score?
For me, this thread was more interesting when people discussed their approach.

I don't have a fixed three, go with instinct but in my mind at least I want three single vowel words, to unveil 12 consonants. On the basis that it's more obvious where vowels go and it's easier to read words with vowels missing that it is with consonants

then depending on how the first couple go I might repeat a consonant to try and find the place as well.
The times I struggle more seem to be when there are repeating letters in a word, I have to force myself to consider them, other words I frequently just 'see' them.
Honest question - do any dyslexics play - is it harder, or does thinking about it overcome the dyslexia?
That's a good point I'd not considered. Although only helpful if you get the consonants in the right order.

yes and no, having the consonants in the wrong order completely is tricky but even then or if one is right, there are some consonants that don't / rarely follow each other, so you have a limited set of options to work through. And we've all seen the theories that letter order in sleplnig dosnet mtaetr as long as the first and last letters are right
eg: rwgN- (assume the N means right place)
rw is never at the start of a word. Can't think easily of a short word where w and g come in that order and also not at the start. Could be a gr start, but can't think of a gw (not at 5 letters). And words ending nr or nw? None to mind.... so has to be g really.The vowel's got to be somewhere in the middle.
Simple example but that's the way my mind sorts, if as I said I don't see it anyway.

Well today is the first time I’ve managed a Wordle, a Quordle and a Semantle all in the same day. Having failed altogether before now I got todays Semantle in a ridiculous 17 guesses. Mostly luck though as my first guess was 421 of 1000.

My ineptitude at Quordle reaches new heights!
You need to be more strategic than with Wordle. Chasing one word early will usually destroy your chances on the others. I nearly always use the same three starting words and then start chasing words on the fourth guess. I usually get it in 7 or 8. I've only failed on it once, just bad luck trying to find the final letter out of multiple possibilities. Here are my starting words:
ORATE
GUILD
SYNCH
Those three starting words cover all the vowels and the highest frequency consonants. Once you've tried those, it's usually fairly easy to see what the answers are.
Back on it today after some slack playing - don't like failing at Wordle! Haven't done Quordle or Nerdle in a few days either so will give them a go in a bit too

RAISE and YOUTH. covers all the vowels and Y, plus common consonants R,S and T.
also use them with Octordle unsurprisingly.
