But how the hell do you start that sums one?
I normally start with a two digit number operator, two digit number equals two digit number. Pick different digits so that you now know about 6 different digits.
You'll also whether your answer is two digits or not and whether or not you guessed the correct operator.

Okay I've not stopped quordleyet but I'm going to. If anyone's interested, my not failed yet strategy is to start with a word with two vowels, three common consonants; next word similar but different letters, regardless of what was right in the first. And then you'll usually have enough info to get one word next go. Only today I didn't have enough so did a third word with completely different letters. You can see only one of these was a hit, but gave me enough info to finish the thing, which necessarily takes four goes. Boring but effective.
