Will be purchasing an electric cooker soon and just wondered who disconnects and reconnects the old/new cooker. Do I have to find someone to do this or will the retailer do this for me?

I think most will if you pay them to do it - when we looked into it a few years ago didn't seem too bad to get Comet to do it, and you might be able to haggle on that sort of thing at the moment as it doesn't cost them much to do.
