How come my wifi signal from my router disappears if I stray more than 5 meters from the house but I can take my landline handset down the garden and still use it 70 meters away?
The router and phone sit next to each other, Not really a problem just wondered why the router signal is shite.

DECT will be 1880Mhz.
Wifi will be 2.4 or 5Ghz.
Generally the higher the frequency, the lower the range especially if buildings and things are in the way.
