We are travelling to London over the weekend and my wife wants to catch up on work. She needs to access her work account so needs wifi, otherwise she'll need to print off loads beforehand.

Does anyone know if this is the case and if so is it fairly reliable?

Yes, it's available but pretty flakey. You'll need to log off and on again a couple of times in my experience (1 trip a week to London).

My experience* of train Wifi is that it's crap.

Get a 4G hotspot dongle thing ?

* this is Southwest Trains though and it's a free service.

Having said that, they've changed it recently and limit your MB downloads. As above, I usually wait until Bristol and switch on my phone as a hotspot and use that if I need to send emails.
