I have 2 sets of Panaracer Rampage with enough life in them to make them worth selling on but not sure how much it's going to cost me since they reformulated their pricing.

how much postage are people paying for sending tyres these days?

With Royal Mail, it'll probably cost a fortune. With MyHermes it'll be about a fiver.

I sent a couple of pairs (as two separate parcels) the other week, twisted together to fold them on top of themselves, taped up. £3 a pair to send 1st class as a small parcel.

Are people still actually using Royal Snail?

£3 for a parcel up to 2kg 1st class seems ok to me - have used it quite a lot recently for ebayed bike parts.

£3 is what I have got for about 10 or 11 parcels recently sold and postage paid for via ebay, putting in measurements and weight.

I've always been a royal mail user, no such thing as a reliable courier company in my experience as far as collections go... But the last price increase is a killer. IIRC I paid £8 or thereabouts for the last tyre I posted, just a hair over a kilo.
