Bright orange handlebar grips; new phone case; a supply of ActiveRoot energy chews and some trinket.

All dull, but all providing a bit of excitement when they arrive...

10 x 0.25mm headset microspacers.

And yes, I used all of them so could just have ordered 1 x 2.5mm spacer at a fraction of the cost 🙄

I got some knock-off oral-b toothbrush heads.

Although it is quite exciting as there are several different brush patterns. And they were only a tenner for 16.

Zip ties are always exciting, imagine having a full selection of sizes always to hand! I remember the halcyon days when I even had a selection of colours 🤩

Now my five year old just finds them and zips them up out of badness (or perhaps just because he likes the noise, but I attribute it to badness 😣)

A d-lock and 2 sets of rim brake pads for my wife, who needed new brake pads and a new d-lock.

Also, a howies jersey, not ordered from them in years as they seemed to not be able to size things for ages, i.e. massive necks and arms and slender bodies. This xl jersey is just a bit tighter than my skin, so I'll give up on them again, shame, used to love their stuff.

20 bags of topsoil?

Would have picked it up, but a neighbour was getting a massive load, so a stuck a few extra bags on.

Except they sent the wrong stuff, 2 pallets of potting compost and 1 of bark.

So, yeah, not only not exciting, it went straight back to the depot and they've refunded.

3 replacement tapes for my labeller. It's taken me nearly five years to use one, but they were on offer 😉 So if anyone needs an emergency tape replacement for a brother labeller, hit me up as our US colleagues are want to say 🙂

I was still excited tho. I had things to label.

I have Schrödinger's parcel waiting at home. Largeish and delivered by Evri but I don’t remember ordering anything. It may be something exciting right up to the moment I observe the contents and win this thread 😸

10 x 0.25mm headset microspacers.

still remember the trouble I had with the integrated headset on my Jeffsy before I became aware that such things existed. Hidden away somewhere in a Cane Creek headset manual.

48 toilet rolls just arrived. Who gives a crap.

To be fair it'd be a fairly iffy 'delivery' without that delivery.

A d-lock and 2 sets of rim brake pads for my wife,

Upping the anti from the fluffy handcuffs then.

We've had a delivery of leotard glue. Apparently it does what it says on the tin, and will preserve my daughters modesty at her next event.

I do wonder if you have to stand while it sets in case you end up stuck to your chair.
