During last nights pootle up to Dizz and around Strines etc I'm pretty sure I bumped into about a dozen brave soldiers from the Hayf Hub going the other way on a mission to get to the Fox Inn for a mid-ride pint.
Can anyone confirm this?
More scarily, while perched on the track at Mellor Cross, I was happily admiring the stunning vistas of nighttime Mancland when I turned round to gawp at the rather nice peachy moon. AND THEN. I suddenly noticed about a dozen bikey lights coming off what looked like Jacob's Ladder AT 9:45 OF THE P.M.
that's bonkers
Were it you?
Jacob's Ladder is awesome at night. I remember the first time I ever did it was on a pitch black night on my 80mm hardtail - it was fun
I MUST KNOW
Get used to disappointment

thats f-kall, I was so young when I rode it I DIDNT EVEN HAVE EYES
Since you must know and I desperately need recognition as a daring, manly, butch, skilled and oh so brave MTB warrior I'll let you believe it was me (it wasn't).
I rode it on a long-travel hardtail in the DAYLIGHT. In the DRY. With my eyes OPEN. On a LONG TRAVEL hardtail and FAT TYRES and DISC BRAKES.
Rad to the gnarr of sick and large with added hoon

You mean you have eyes now? You lucky lucky b'stard!
Extra points for also recognising the quote.
Wasn't the Hayfield lot, not going to the pub anyway. The lights might have been. I could tell you the answer to both, but then I MUST KNOW never really works, does it.
And anyway, what would be so odd about coming off Jacob's at 9.45pm?

Monty python isn't exactly hard to spot, now is it?
We weren't in Lyme Park last night.
Neither were we on Bakestonedale Moor.
I wasn't anywhere near any there, nor on any footpaths, during yesterday afternoon's glorious sunshine ๐
