i have just seen the video for Marilyn Manson's "sweet dreams" and to be honest, its the scariest video i have ever seen. Have a look on youtube and see if you agree....... (cringe)
Grace Jones is scarier.
if its scary music videos then aphex twins come to daddy wins hands down.

Not visually disturbing as such, and maybe a rather odd thing to say - but given his mental state at the time, Nick Drake's voice in [url=
Eyed Dog always gives me the chills.
Grace Jones
Nico.

and that boy and girl, where she is the drummer.
Is GG Allin that bloke who used to smear himself with his own faeces on stage. And then throw it into the audience? If so, then it's him, no question. If not, someone else can google it ๐

Perhaps not 'scary', but could certainly be described as 'disturbing'.
Harley flanagan of the Cro-Mags.google image him....
Manson is pussy!
If you want truly mental scary then:
Grahhl from Gorgoroth- Truly off the wall
Wattie from the exploited -He'd just kick your face off
the nephilim were only scary if you were alergic to flour ๐

The Haunted front man [url=
Dolving is pretty scary (but also a very interesiting articulate guy...) Songs like "3 times" and "99" prove it!
[url=
from At The Gates, definate overtones for Viking beserker about him.
Benton has gone a bit fat now but yep in the early 90's he did look mental!
old blokes in makeup are hardly scary

I beg to differ, Clowns scare the living Cr*p out of me
The Haunted made me do it ๐
Genesis P Orridge of Psychic TV/Throbbing Gristle and some other bands makes me feel sick. A man with breast implants FFS.
Not really work safe:
a lot of mountain bikers I see are fat enough not to need any implants to give them man boobs

No idea. Don't do soaps. Grotty old industrial music I do.
well this thread has resulted in me watching videos of terrible old new york tough guy hardcore bands... but yeah, my vote would probably go to dwid of the clevo hc band Integrity- in his prime he was a complete maniac. honourable mentions go to paul bearer of sheer terror, james ismean from fury of five, lord ezec from crown of thornz and human furnace (really!) from ringworm.

Leigh Bowery. Thread closed.
Saw them live, absolutely terrifying.
Genesis P Orridge is one of the nicest Humans currently alive on this planet, as was Leigh Bowery.
Robbie Williams turns my stomach.
Henry Rollins. Hardest and most frightening man on Earth.
FACT.
Spellgoth from the Finnish band Turmion Katilot, genuinely barking.

Saw Rollins chin a bloke who got on stage with him in Leeds once. Classic.
Someone jumped on stage during one of Hank's spoken word shows, he just looked at the guy and said calmly "Leave, right now". The guy did the only sensible thing under the circumstances.
The singer out of the Dwarves was prone to bouts of violence I think. Sure I saw him kick someone in the face on stage.
couple of the chaps in lostprophets used to be in a (pretty bad) hardcore band called public disturbance and their singer stu was pretty tough. a band called length of time (bad belgian toughguy metalcore) played once and the bass player was deliberately hitting people in the crowd with his guitar. until stu got up on stage and knocked him out cold with one punch in the middle of one of their songs...
