Yup, on the south coast here, just a bit more blustery than normal.

No records being set here, it was pretty much blowing in all directions.

Head to toe in waterproofs as usual!

After a 52 mile Sportive on Sunday and 22 miles last night I didn't fancy 22 miles into a headwind so I got the train instead. I had forgotten that London Midland are both useless and robbers. It will be back to the bike tomorrow.

Hold on, what is this tail wind you all mention?

It was a nasty head wind on the way in and I'm willing to bet it will be a nasty head wind on the way back.

took me about 8 minutes longer to get in this morning. riding into the wind is no fun...the wind seems to have died down now and the sun is out...not sure what it'll be like on the way home...but it will be interesting!!

Was fine for me this morning, bit swirly at times, but mostly seemed to be behind me. 5 minutes after I got to work it took a turn for the (much) worse, but looks to be fining up again now and forecast is ok for later 🙂

I got soaked then covered in mud, was a great ride, the showers at work were a bit of a state when I got in!

Rode in, dry and blustery, head wind all the way down Hope Street, here in Liverpool. Brought me to a standstill by the Cathedral.

I'm glad that it's scheduled to die down by tomorrow.. I'm not a fan of using the trailer in this sort of weather, always makes me a bit nervous

Considering it hasn't dropped below 40mph yet since 3am and it's showing peaks of 62mph - you decide...

Tell that to the two wheelie bins that went past the window earlier!
One of which is still embedded in the neighbours fence!
(not my bins by the way 😛 )

Given that work would have involved hanging off the side of a 100m tall building on the South coast, my morning commute involved putting my slippers on to walk downstairs to the kitchen....
