Anyone know of any good whip tutorials, or could give me some tips?

The videos on youtube seem very short and do not go into much depth

Cheers
Dom

well the first thing you have to learn is to
Crack that whip, whip it, whip it good.

I found that I was watching all the vids on pinkbike and everyone was whipping left right and centre - so I naturally ended up doing them every time I jumped.
I wouldn't have a clue how to describe how to do them just keep watching the pros and youll pick it up

Step 1 - Keep trying to jump or boost lips of things.
Step 2 - Eventually get tired of constantly trying to jump.
Step 3 - Once you're sufficiently tired your dominant hand will pull the bars one way while your bike's rear points the other way. If you're lucky you won't crash.
Step 4 - Pretend you just did a whip.

www.thewhipman.co.nz makes a fantastic whip and has a superb instructional DVD as well.
