Trying to avoid using New St.
Birmingham NEC? - not sure how many 'stoppers' there these days tho.
snow hill or moor st i'd say through warwick parkway, oxford etc
Any outside Brum?
Got to be Lichfield Trent Valley.
1hr 20mins or so depending on which train you get.
Think Tamworth & Rugby are no same line.
warwick parkway outside of brum (or warwick it's self, two different stations) wave to me as you board 🙂
International (which is at the NEC/Airport) is quite quick and has a regualar service into Euston. Coventry is also on the same line and I think most of the trains stop there.
Forgive me, but when did Coventry move into the West Midlands?
1973
Come to think of it, not sure if Lichfield is classed as West Mids either.

Yea, forgot about these - the Trent Valley stations are both on the WCML to London. Coventry's also a good choice - bit closer to London and I think it'll probably get more stopping trains.
yea, warwick, is also not in the W Mids, it's warwickshire funnily enough
how far out of brum? Malvern, Worcester, Evesham, Moreton in marsh, Oxford,
I know you don't want to use New Street, but the 7:30 from New Street arrives Euston at 8:40.(Standard journey time throughout the day is 1hr 24mins, on a 20 minute frequency)
Elsewhere, the 7:42 from Birmingham International arrives Euston at 8:50 (Standard Journey time is 1hr 14mins, 20 minute frequency)
On an hourly basis, one of the services running through Birmingham originates from Wolverhampton (calling at Sandwell and Dudley) with a journey time from Wolves at around 1hr 45mins.
This all dependant on Network Rail not having signalling failures etc as happened yesterday......
I'm sure you won't find quicker. Cheaper maybe, but faster costs more.
Er, the 7.30 Virgin from New Street gets into Euston at 8.54.
As does the 7.40 from International, because it's the same train.
Likewise, the 7.10 from New Street gets into Euston at 8.34, and so does the 7.20 from International, again for the obvious reason 🙂
Alternative routes:
From Worcester (via Evesham, Oxford into Paddington) the journey time is 2hrs 21mins
From Snow Hill (via Warwick, Leamington etc into Marylebone) the journeytime is 2hrs 7mins
Both of these will be considerably cheaper, but again, if it's speed you're after......
Bensales:you're either looking at a Saturday timetable or last year's.
You're quite right. I stuck the times in to thetrainline.com and foolishly selected "tomorrow" as the date, forgetting it was the weekend.
Fastest is always the Virgin (or whatever they are now) train to Euston through International, Cov and Rugby.
Cheapest is generally the Chiltern triain from Snow Hill through Warwick
